Budapest Fashion Week is back, and once again, the Hungarian capital is stepping into its role as Central Europe’s fashion place-to-be. Budapest Central European Fashion Week (BCEFW) returns from 10–16 February 2025, bringing a tightly curated week of runway shows, designer presentations, creative showcases, and nearly 50 BCEFW side events unfolding across 12 districts of the city.
This season’s main runway program will feature established Hungarian designers alongside standout regional brands and emerging talent from across Central Europe. If previous editions are anything to go by, BCEFW 2025 promises a week of strong creative direction, fresh perspectives, and memorable moments.
As expected, runway tickets have already sold out — a clear sign of the week’s growing local and international pull. If you missed out, the wait now shifts to the summer collections.
Fortunately, the heart of BCEFW often lives beyond the runway. The week’s side events remain open and are arguably its most exciting offering — intimate, community-driven moments hosted by familiar names, set in well-loved venues, and occasionally, in Budapest’s best-kept hidden gems.
BCEFW Side Events
This season, Budapest Fashion Week’s side events offer a dynamic mix of fashion, culture, and community. Expect everything from designer pop-ups and in-store presentations to creative workshops, fashion talks, and industry roundtables.

Monday Side Events
Budapest Fashion Week officially kicks off on Monday, and my top picks for the day are HABA and LipBar, both hosting events throughout the week.
A true hidden gem, HABA is known for its vibrant smoothies and crave-worthy bites — but for BCEFW, the space transforms into a creative hub, welcoming art, fashion, and community into its walls.
LipBar is another downtown standout worth a visit, especially if you’re drawn to personalized beauty experiences. From custom lipsticks to a playful, design-forward atmosphere, it’s a stop that feels perfectly aligned with fashion week energy.
Tuesday Side Events
By day two, BCEFW’s side events begin to gain momentum, with a mix of workshops, presentations, and fashion-forward gatherings across the city. A few events you’ll almost certainly find me at:

Vintage store by day, creative community space by night, Komondors returns with another standout fashion moment. This time, the spotlight is on an international designer, bringing a night where Tbilisi meets Budapest through fashion, sound, and movement.

📍 Apollo Gallery
A journey through three iconic decades and two fashion shows, NOSTALGIA reimagines the past through a modern lens. This is an evening rooted in memory, style, and reinvention — the kind of event that lingers long after it ends. Come dressed with intention. Tickets required.

Helga Tóth at B72 Studio

Two worlds collide at this highly anticipated BCEFW side event. NINI Boutique teams up with HER, the women-led party series, for an intimate and glamorous evening celebrating fashion, community, and femininity.
The boutique will transform into a striking red art installation, offering an exclusive first look at the Red Eco Love Bag, alongside romantic cocktails and a playful love fortune-telling experience. Registration required.

UNCOUTH show and afterparty

Watch the unveiling of UNCOUTH’s Autumn/Winter 2026–27 collection which captures love as care, protection, and emotional continuity.
