Self-Portrait Photography in Budapest | Something Cool Not to Miss

Many people can relate to the awkwardness that sometimes comes with posing for a picture. A photographer clicks away while you transition from one pose to another. For some, it’s exciting; for others, it’s terrifying. But if it didn’t have to be awkward? What if you could strike your best or not-so-best poses without the discomfort of somebody watching you? With self-portrait photography, you can.

Discover Pupil Studio – A self-portrait photography studio in Budapest

When I first heard about the idea of self-photography, I found it a little intimidating. Those feelings quickly vanished when I actually tried it out for myself. Self-photography is exactly what it sounds like you. Nobody else but you and the camera.

Pupil Studio is located in the center of Budapest and one of the few places in Budapest where you can do this type of photo shoot. I was blown away by the concept. The idea is basically for anyone who walks in to let their creativity shine through. We all look at ourselves in the mirror from time to time, but it’s very rare for us to stare at ourselves for nearly an hour.

Interestingly, the experience is more emotional than one might think, and the further into the shoot you get, the more comfortable you become.

All you have to do is use the little remote control that you’re given to take the pictures.

The best part is that you can bring whatever you want. Props are allowed, and it’s the perfect location for a themed birthday or anniversary shoot or simply just for yourself.

Self-portrait photography is one of the coolest things to do in Budapest, and I highly recommend it if you have the chance.
