There’s no doubt that the Budapest art scene is growing expeditiously! Local designers and their items are popping up at every corner, and quite frankly, we love it! You can discover everything from handmade jewelry, designer tote bags, and cool scrunchies to chakra-aligning candles and everything in between. But how do you pick the best with so much to choose from? That’s where Maker’s Market Budapest comes in.
Shopping in Budapest | Maker’s Market Budapest
Maker’s Market is a monthly fair that brings the coolest Hungarian designers under one roof for a beautiful shopping affair. This event, which happens once a month (twice if we’re lucky), features various contemporary items and the creators behind them.
The event prioritizes quality over quantity, and all the designers are handpicked for their creative flair and environmentally cautious nature. So, if there’s one thing this event guarantees, it’s a wide array of quality items.

Visiting Maker’s Market
Maker’s Market is held once or twice a month on Sunday. The event mostly takes place at Feny Utca Market in the Castle District in Buda and sometimes at MOST Bistro, located in the city center on the Pest side of the city.
Entrance to the shopping fair is free, so you only pay for what you purchase. The eco-friendly, sustainable event also has a few dining options around, so it’s the perfect place to grab a bite or cool off with a drink.

Location: Feny Utca Market and MOST Bistro
Upcoming fairs:
- July 14th – Most Bistro
- August 18th – Most Bistro
- August 25th – Fény utca Market
- September 15th – Fény utca Market
